Today's Show is Brought To You By The Letter "S"
I was tagged by the lovely miss Holly to do the following fun blog.
Here's how it works: You leave a comment on this post, and I'll assign you a letter. You write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter and you post it on your blog. When people comment on your post you assign them a letter and the fun continues.
Here we go!
1. Son - as in Kamden. He is the absolute light of my life and joy of my world. We were originally not looking at the best odds of having children at all and after many months of bleeding scares, worries about hydrocephalus, problems with blood pressure, decreased fetal movement, etc...he's here and perfect. I never thought I'd have so much love in my heart for such a little person. He's amazing.
2. Soap - considering that RIGHT after starting this entry we had a MAJOR blow out poopy diaper and needed to soak the clothes and wash the baby...today I am VERY grateful for this invention.
3. Seattle - as in one of my BFF, Paige. She lives just outside that area and works as a journalist. She is one of those that no matter how long we go without talking, we are able to pick up right from where we left off with our friendship and carry on like we have never been apart.
4. Stockings - This year this represents getting to take a vacation to Texas for Christmas. I never realized just how much I missed being at home until we came back. Thank God for the chance to come home and spend time with the family.
5. Santa - As in the innocence, wishfulness and pure faith in dreams and people we have as children. I hope that over the next year I'll be able to re-learn through the eyes of my son how to live life this way.
6. Singing - As in the talents and gifts that God has given to me to use. I've neglected the singing ability that God gave to me for about two and a half years now and after being asked to lead the candlelight service music this week, I am realizing I have a renewed love for the ability.
7. Salvation - I think that this one pretty much explains itself. Thank You, Jesus for coming and God for sending your son to die for us and give us a way to life eternally with you.
8. Smiles - There are so many things we ALL have to be grateful for and seeing the smiles on my family and friends' faces reminds me every day just how much.
9. Stephanie/Sasha - I'm combining these two to represent the wonderful women that I met by way of babycenter over the last two years. The women on my birth board have been such a blessing to my life. They have been helpful, not only in things regarding learning to be a mommy for the first time, but also in many of the hardships that have happened over the last 18 or so months. Thank you all for your helps and support.
10. Second-chances - I feel like this will be what our little family gets when Kamden and I move to Texas in February and start paying off debt, saving up for a new home and getting life in order while Jeff is in Iraq. Praise the Lord!
