Epiphanies and Other Big Words
This has been a week full of realizations for me. Some of those realizations have been quite pleasant and others have been more "thorn in the dr flesh" types. I thought I'd share them with you, and please feel free to comment with a "Well, DUH!!" if need be.
1. I am fantastic at planning and getting things in order.
2. I am not so great at following through with the things I plan out.
3. I am WAY too hard on myself and don't give myself enough credit.
4. I can do and deal with much more than I ever expected.
5. I have some absolutely incredible friends, no matter the large distances between us.
6. I am my worst adversary when it comes to achieving goals.
7. I am self critical mainly because I don't forgive myself for things long in the past, many of which were beyond my control.
8. My parents have once again become the smartest people I know.
9. So long as I keep saying that I will start on something "tomorrow" I will never start on it.
10. I do, however, tend to take #9 to the OPPOSITE extreme and instead have too many projects going all at one time.
11. I really am ok with "me" and the fact that I'm still not entirely sure who that person is.
12. I am the only person who can instigate and being about change in my life.
13. I had better get on the ball with making those changes.
14. Some of the very best friends a person may ever have are those who have not been engaged in conversation face to face. Thank you.
15. Sometimes the littlest things really are the most important and most appreciated.
